When was Viatris formed and when did it go public?

Viatris was formed through the combination of Mylan and Upjohn, a division of Pfizer, on November 16, 2020.

Does Viatris pay a dividend?

Under Delaware law and Viatris’ current organizational documents, the Board of Directors of Viatris may declare, and Viatris may pay, a dividend.  

Can I purchase stock directly from the company?

No, Viatris does not currently have a program for the direct purchase of stock.

If I was a Mylan shareholder (registered or street-name) do I have to do anything following the completion of the combination?

Each Mylan shareholder will receive one share of Viatris common stock for each Mylan ordinary share held by such holder, subject to any applicable withholding taxes, without any action of such Mylan shareholder. You will not have to take any action following completion of the combination.

If I was Mylan holder and now a Viatris holder are there any tax implications and where can I find out more information?

Each Mylan shareholder will receive one share of Viatris common stock for each Mylan ordinary share held by such holder, subject to any applicable withholding taxes, including any Dutch dividend withholding tax.
